McAllen ISD
Technology Staff Development Program
The Instructional Technology
department is responsible for all technology staff development. Their
mission is to create, maintain and perpetuate a teaching and learning
environment in which students, teachers, administrators and the
community use technology as a tool for learning. Their goal is to
provide technology training and support for McAllen ISD Staff.
All professional development
sessions are correlated to the
ISTE NETS
standards for teachers as well as the Texas Teacher Competencies.
Materials and activities are developed to help K-12 teachers integrate
